It all depends on the strategy of the opponent and their decks.

For Gladiator Beasts, either use Vanity's Fiend/Ruler to stop their special summoning. You can also use Corridor of Agony. They can still Special Summon from their deck, but the special summoned monster can't use their effects or attack.

For Lightsworns, use the Light-Imprisoning Mirror. Even if they crank out Judgment Dragon, you just have to deal with a 3000-ATK monster.

Those are the most common ones I've seen.

X-Saber, Psychic OTK, and Machina Gadgets decks are basically just specialized Warrior, Psychic, and Machine decks, respectively. I would use the Field Spell Array of Revealing Light. When it's activated, you declare a monster type. Then when a monster of the same type is summoned, it cannot attack for that turn. You can also use Acid Rain to destroy all Machine monsters. Psychic monsters rely on having high LP's to use their abilities, so use Burn strategies to deplete your opponent's Life Points as quickly as possible.

Infernities rely on having 0 cards in their controller's hand, so use any card that gives them drawing power, such as The Bistro Butcher and D-Hero Defender.

Of course, these are just guesses. I've never actually come across someone who used these decks.

for side deck options, it all depends on the deck your using first off. and i think i could help you starting from there. a second question would be what kind of meta are you normally up against, because certain side deck cards can only be used for certain decks. (i.e you wouldnt side dimensional fissure in a saber or infernity deck but it is doable in a gladiator beast deck)

i am currently using a zombie synchro swarm deck but am trying to switch to glads. most of the decks i have come accross are low level decks, some worse than starter decks, but from what i've heard my locals usualy consist of beat down, cyber, blackwings(guy dosent use foils because of no cases, so basicly beat/swarm) maybe glads, and a few burn decks, but basicly low level stuff. i want to play competitively but can't play test with or against top tier decks.

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

For zombies i would generally do something like:
2 Ryko (sometimes you want that mill and destruction in a slower paced game)
2 Nobleman of Crossout
2 D.D Crow
2 Swallow Flip or 2 Chivalry maybe
1-2 Thunder king Raioh
?# Dimensional Alchemist?
1-2 Cyber Dragon

Dont know much about zombie tech

For Gladiator Beast i'd use something like:
3 Dimensional Fissure (for grave reliant decks)
2 Cyber Dragon (have a chimeratech fortress dragon in your extra deck vs machine decks)
2 Effect Veiler(for decks with great ignition or trigger effects)
2 Thunder King Raioh(for decks that search alot i.e gadgets/blackwings)
2 Compulsory Evacuation device(for duels where you are put up against large beat sticks i.e synchro decks or dragons)
2 Nobleman of Crossout
2 D.D crow(for graveyard reliant decks)

give and take you can take and add a few cards you want in
