The first skill fits better in Gold Paladin.
The second skill would have been fine even if it is a copy of Claret Sword. The problem is that it stole from Tachikaze completely. The third skill just shouldn't be there. |

i guess no one has noticed that the g4 mentioned on this card is "Illusionary Dragon, Phantom Blaster Dragruler" but the actual g4 that was made to go with this is "Illusionary Dragon, Phantom Blaster Dragruler, "Diablo"

Kaichi, the stride wasn't restricted to that at first. It was allowed for any grade 4 at first.

This unit is terribly imbalanced.
First of all, it's name. It has overall 3 archetype words, "Phantom", "Blaster", and "Diablo". Too much for a single unit. 2 is the maximum in order to avoid over-supporting. And how this guy went from a Revenger to a Blaster, I'll never know. Secondly, GB2 skill is too good for its cost. You have multiple units in SP that activate upon call (e.g. Darkheart Trumpeter, Swordbreaker Angel), it also lets you get key units like Hoel, and to top it off you even gave both of them Power +5k along with your VG. CB1 is a cheap cost to SP due to units such as Kahedin and Dorint, and therefore it is too little. If you want this many bonuses, it should at least be a net -4 of CB or SB + discards from hand + retire. Thirdly, the stride skill. I'll forgive the g2 calling from deck because that's part of Mordred's original breakride skill. But calling from the drop zone after retiring is not forgivable. It is a key part of Tachikaze's mechanic. It would make more sense if you called a grade 1/2 from the deck instead, and even then you'll still have to think of balance issues, and factor in your own deckout. Overall this is a card made with thoughts of "oh let's put all the good skills in here it'll be fun" without any consideration of balancing the game, not very. If this unit existed there might as well be a Kagero unit with "[ACT]:[Counterblast (1)]: Retire all of your opponent's rearguards." to balance it. |
